Jennifer McLean
Jennifer joined as our Business Assurance & Operations Manager in May 2016.
A subject matter expert in multi-agency emergency preparation and response as it relates to the Civil Contingencies Act, Jennifer latterly spent nine years working for the West of Scotland Regional Resilience Partnership (formerly Strathclyde Emergencies Coordination Group). She has a wealth of experience of managing and coordinating crisis preparedness at all levels, and across a range of organizations, often with conflicting priorities.
Jennifer performed a key role in national working groups for training and exercising, public communications, technical communications and short-life groups for the development of many pieces of regional and national guidance including Preparing Scotland Having & Promoting Business Resilience, Scottish Exercise Guidance, and Risk & Preparedness Assessment guidance.
Jennifer is PRINCE2 Practitioner certified, and obtained a merit in the Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) exam which informed the development of a strategy and roll out of a business resilience programme in 2013/14 for businesses across Glasgow City.
Jennifer is an innovator with expert technical knowledge proving an excellent addition to the IDR team.
